My second bargello finished lately.  (I had a goal of three - the third one is still in the strips stage.)

The pattern is Surf Song and is from Eileen Wright's book. You can get it here

The backing was fabric I purchased in Istanbul from an open market. I had been saving it for something special. I decided that this was that special project!

Close up of that fabric.  The quilting shows up, but not super well.  I used a light blue to do the quilting and it blends very well!
