I completely finished "Fancy Squares"!

I wrote about it back a few days ago!  The center of these blocks were some scrub pieces that I had purchased (they were new - not recycled fabrics). I ended up with quite a few pieces that were similar sizes - and I could only get 5" squares out of them - max width. 

This pattern would also work for your "charm pack" 5" squares.  I did use 2" and 2 1/2" strips going around those 5"x5" squares, so this could be a great "scrap buster". I didn't use my scraps, however. I went to my stash and pulled out coordinating fabrics.
