I had a chance to get one more good sewing session in towards my Strings 2 quilt.

Here is the result:

I was able to get 18 more chain blocks made. This makes my total made to be 40 blocks. I need 56 total. Hopefully next time I get to work on this project I can finish up the last 16 blocks. 

This is is my plans for Strings 2 quilt.

Because I will soon have all the blocks needed, my goal for next sewing session is threefold - 

1. Finish the last 16 chain blocks using some reds and yellows and maybe oranges.

2. Cut the sashing pieces I'm going to need when I put it together

3. Cut the side setting triangles (and corner setting triangles). 

Then, hopefully the NEXT time after that, i can put it together.  So, as we Christians say, Lord willing, it will take 2 more sessions to finish this top.
