Charity Quilt Week 3- Day 4

At last! I am able to show you some of those solids/shadow quilts!

So what do I think? Actually I like them very much. I am confident that they will be chosen very quickly! They seem like anyone from about a tween UP - girl/guy/man/woman - would like them. I guess we’ll see!

I am super happy with how they are turning out! Of course in doing so I am using up a lot of the darker gray that I have.

Here they are nicely on the carpet.

The couch is getting very full!

Yes. That'‘s 127. I am over my goal for 2019. But that’s okay…because I will just put the extra tops towards 2020 goal. I’m always keeping that in mind. the years fly by and I have another group I need to make up!

The days are flying by. Even this week while my husband has been gone - I’ve been trying to finish up all the tops I’ve started so I can get to a nice stopping point to kind of transition to quilting mode. The problem of course is, that I’m already mourning the idea of not piecing. Yes, I am definitely someone who prefers piecing.

While I’ve been doing the quilting part long enough that I’m starting to actually enjoy it, I enjoy the creation of the tops more. Probably as my confidence grows with the quilting, I’ll get more pleasure from it. I guess we’ll see.

The FMQ certainly has not been something that has come easy for me!

I went with my friend again today to the hospital to help her out. On the way home we had a hail storm and then it just changed to snow. March in Poland is like a pot - a little bit of winter, a little bit of summer (They have a saying that goes like that.).

Hail

After it hailed quite hard, it turned to snow and just snowed for a while.

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!

Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store!
