Here in Poland we have a lot of brick sidewalks - and there are quite a few different ones.

But most of them are pretty standard brick shaped bricks - rectangular - or almost squares.

I saw some interesting ones on our trip! Let me show you: These are almost all from the sidewalks of Bishkek.

Obviously I couldn’t help but think of quilting designs!

So there you go! My husband got used to me stopping to take pictures of sidewalks wherever we walked!

Rail fence, clam shells, a simple rail fence (2 up, 2 across), tumbling blocks and various others - some elaborate— were all there!
