What’s the difference between shopping in the Quilted Twins store and online?

Shopping at Quilted Twins is a lot of fun. Every day that we’re open, we have lots of laughs and lots of smiles. People bring in ideas to share with each other and patterns for which to hunt fabrics.

You can do most of that, however, from the comfort of your own home. You can hee-haw over Ken on the Ken and Rachael show while watching our Youtube shows or our Live Facebook feeds. You can gather with your friends and pick out fabrics, but these are things that differentiate in-store shopping from online shopping!

I thought I’d show you a few pictures so you can see why you should make us a destination point the next time you come to Florida!

1.      While shopping in the store, you’ll find a check out station with a cashier. Online you’ll never have to stand in line. It’s faster and easier.

2.      But, in the checkout line, to combat, the wait, we have fun things in the counter cases that you’d never find online, because either I just haven’t gotten to putting it up on the site yet, or because it’s our last one or two..

.

Here’s a few of our “one or two of a kind” left that are in the display case that people get to study while they wait to check out.

3.      In the store you’ll often time baskets and baskets of messy go-backs! Of course, these go-back carts are great ways to see the fabrics that are often tucked away on the shelf.

4.      When shopping online, the fabrics are all splayed out for you to see them nicely on the screen.

5.      When shopping in the store, during the summer months, you can sign up for give aways. We do this because it is the summer residents who keep our store going. We love our snowbirds, but we must have people in our store front during the off-season as well. So we do give aways to get them out of their homes in the ridiculous Florida heat and rainstorms, so that they can try to win a prize.

6.      But, online Becky does great give aways sometimes, as well, and those won’t be available in the store.

7.      You’ll often times get to walk around in-aisle conferences going on. They rarely mind if you pipe up and give your opinion, and often appreciate it. It’s fun to eavesdrop as I put away fabrics.

8.      When shopping online, you don’t get any interaction with us, but you sure can have your friends stand there with you as you look at the website.

9. We have piece for sale. These are the leftovers… We’ll be able to get a piece section going on the site after I get the new site up and running! I would love to be able to offer some of our amazing ‘leftovers” to you! But for now, that’s limited to our in-store customers!

I’m sure that there are many more things, like getting to listen to Ken’s corny jokes. Wait. you get to do that live on youtube, don’t you? Or like getting to experience 10,000 bolts of fabric live and in person, or other such things, but you get the idea! Shopping in the store is an amazing experience. But, shopping online is also fun!

So, whatever you do, please stop in, either in person or online and check out what we have to offer!
