2020 Charity quilts - #71-80

Well, here are the next 10!

Just to ease your mind - these are all done for the year now…so things are nice and quiet at home. I still need to do some cleaning up and organizing and moving things on out, but otherwise, charity quilts are done, Noble Packages are all done - though a couple of pieces need to be delivered still - and our own Christmas tree is up and the living room in decent shape. I want to do some baking - more pumpkin bread - it’s a great gift for everyone I know - and maybe some brownies!

But I went on a marathon picture taking day for two days early in the week and got all the rest of the photos of the finished charity quilts. Then my husband helped me take them to the church building so I could get the out of the house and on to their proper place until they are given away!

Here they are! The next ten charity quilts. Some of these may be gone already, but for the record, I want to show them one by one just as if they weren’t!

On the day I took so many pictures, the wind was cooperating “big time” - meaning it wasn’t windy. When it’s not windy, it takes a lot less time to take photos because I spend less time waiting for the quilt to come down straight. So even though it was hovering just above freezing, and chilly to take so many photos, I kept telling myself, “Do 5.” And then another 5. And so on. Until I managed to talk myself into finishing them all up!

And here is our truck with all these quilts in the back. Don’t worry - my husband put cardboard down on the bottom of the truck liner so nothing would get dirty!

At this point there are 89 in the room! Don’t worry about the exact numbers as to why…just that I’m keeping track! I had put one back in there…

And here they are in the room!

And this set of photos shows the progression - so you can see how the room has been changing in appearance!

As you can see if you checked out the numbers, we backtracked a bit there - when I took some out for the Noble Packages. Then, I adjusted. My point is just try to try to keep track as to how many of these quilts I have in this room! It helps me know better when I give them away to our locals - how many coupons I have. It is hard to count them once they are all piled up!

Thanks again to all of you who gave me these beautiful tops! So many are donated - and they give me wonderful variety!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this! Stay safe!
