Geometrics 8 - Sage Green and Black
I finished this quick and pretty easy quilt with more of those geometrics fabrics!
Fun!
I had some of this green leftover from a couple other quilts I have been making recently - which you’ve not seen yet.
With this one I used that simple framed 9 patch using those wild geometrics that I bought in December and used a smaller sashing strip (cut 1.5” width) and black cornerstones. Then I used black side setting triangles and corner setting triangles..
Over all, I’m quite pleased with it.
Fast!
This one also looks fine without any border at all! This border is only a 2.5” strip - just trying to use up these pieces!
This is already number 8 in this series and I am not finished with all these geometrics yet!
The series is already longer than I thought it would be. Of course, they are all pretty small quilts, so a little goes a long way!
Maybe I’ll really grow tired of them and make a giant king size quilt with them to just use them up! But who would want such a quilt in their bedroom? I think using these as smaller ones is actually ideal I’m liking them as smaller quilts, whereas I’m not so sure I would care for them in my typical queen size quilt!
This framed 9 patch is just put on point. It makes it look a bit different.
If you just started reading here and haven’t a clue what I’m talking about, this link should help you understand what I’m talking about with all these geometrics!
When I get them all done, I’ll find somewhere on this website to put them in an organized way so you can see them from start to finish.
And that’s it for today!
Oh…and we still have those geometrics packs should this type of thing interest you!
It is super nice! By Andover and only $30 for the entire bundle.
Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store!
