"Frame It!"
I have to admit - the colors on this one have intrigued me. These are not colors I am normally attracted to, but it turned out fine. In fact, I like it! Don’t be mistaken. I do like how this one turned out.
To remind you - I had a 2.5” strips roll that I bought at a Tuesday Morning in Georgia - Snellville, I think, by Benartex. Once I opened it up, I was underwhelmed with the fabrics included - though the quality was fine - in fact, the quality of the fabric was top notch! I was beginning to suspect there was a reason these particular ones were sent to a clearance store like that.
Anyway, I managed to come up with a design that would tie together these seemingly unrelated fabrics -
I quilted it with loops.
I pieced together a backing from some various larger pieces of sort of related fabrics!
And frankly, I’m not sure what I’m going to be doing with this one. Maybe I will see about sending it to the Ukraine with my husband for a seminary student and his wife unless a family member tells me they want it.
I’m kind of a “maxed out” for storing quilts in my house. I have to start moving out more than I make. And I have finished 37+ so far this year of which 0 are charity quilts. I have not given away 37 yet. I believe I sent about 6 with my husband when he went to the Ukraine last time and I have given away about 10 other ones, I think.
I do have a bunch to take to the states whenever that happens. I am going to look into what it would cost to ship to the states via the post office (once everything gets back to normal). If I decide I can afford it, I may have other options as well. I will first make sure all my personal acquaintances here in Poland who want one, get one. :) Yeah. I’m that serious about it. I’m getting claustrophobic in one of those rooms - my daughters’ old room!
as usual - the quilt roll -
I took pictures of this quilt three different times, trying to get a good photo. The sun was very strong this morning, so I wasn’t entirely pleased with my early morning shots! So I kept trying. I tried right after breakfast, but by 7:30 am it’s very very bright. if I want a little less early (but still that angle) morning sunshine, I’d probably need to get up at 4:30 am as our sunrise is now 4:29 am!
My husband has been doing wonders with the grass, though! Isn’t it nice?

And that’s it for Frame It! I trust this helps you make some proverbial lemonade from a lemon you may have inherited (or purchased, as I did) somewhere along the way!
Have a great day wherever you are reading this! Stay safe! Sew on!
Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store!
