"Mosaic" using 1.5" strips update!

I added some this week. I decided that I was never going to finish this top if I didn’t get busy, so I did. I am kind of itching to work on the next two bigger ones, but think I’ll just cut the pieces for those right now until I actually have enough - then make them both. That would make things go a lot faster.

This top is now 53” long! I figure that I am now on the downhill side of it - so that is fun. I’ll try to do at least 11” each week and maybe I can finish in four more weeks!

I’ve shown this before, but here are the stages of the progress reports shown to date:

So there you go. Little by little, I’ll be able to finish this one! Each time I add 10” or so to it, it is very exciting as I can see the progress!

The grid I’m following is this. I’m making this one “row by row” in case this is the first time you’ve seen this.

And then, once again- just in case you are new here - I’ve made this before in 2”x3.5” bricks AND with 2.5”x4.5” bricks. They are here.

And there you are! A progress report. It’s been a long time coming, but I am so glad to be getting back in the groove again! It feels really good!

Have a great day wherever you are reading!
