Quilted Twins

Lori Holt and more Lori Holt! Wow!

I asked Rachael to explain a bit about the buying practices here - and here’s what she wrote.

Quilted Twins is made possible, in part, because of our crazy buying practices. Just recently one of my suppliers contacted me via text and said, “Do you want some Riley Blake flat folds?” The question is answered with either a “yes” or “no.” It’s not, “Can you pick out the Heather Peterson Fabrics, or the Lori Holt or the white on whites?” It’s just all or nothing. I said, “Yes.” It was one of the most fun “Yeses” of my QT life!

We are blessed to have some super sales reps who are on the lookout constantly for us for fun fabrics, since they know what we do – and that is offer you all fabulous bargains, which is helping to keep quilting affordable and fun!

Shown here is one of the last buys we made and received. We had no idea what we were getting until we unwrapped it. This one was particularly fun because it wasn’t even in boxes, which saved us a step. WE didn’t even have to unbox it. We just unwrapped it, much as a 2 year old rips into a Christmas present. Ken and I did a brief live Facebook Feed to show you some of what we got. As we get more acquainted with YouTube, we’ll be doing such things there, so that all of you can see such fun events!

Thanks Rachael, for explaining that!

Rachael has put together some bundles of the Lori Holt fabrics that she discovered in those pallets of fabric!

She didn’t realize how popular they were going to be when she started offering them. She was so surprised when people bought and bought. I told her not to put all of them up at the same time (thinking of people’s budgets!)…in order to give people a financial break. We can tell the fans of these fabrics really love them and want them all!

She put together some Prim bundles.

Here they are.

She made other bundles - some of which sold out - but not these -

She also has a lot of individual fabrics. You can check the website by searching for “Lori Holt” in the search engine, but here are a few of some really pretty ones. You can click on the picture to find them on the site.

And then, I wanted some of her books. There aren’t THAT many patterns that I am willing to pay for, but hers are some of the ones I am. So, Rachael decided that since I (Becky) like them - maybe someone else would too. You can find them here.

Once again - just click on the picture and it should take you to the book.

I know that before Lori Holt, I was an admirer of the designer that produced the line American Jane by Moda. Lori Holt’s style reminds of those fabrics. I love them all!

Sigh. But then, I like fabric. :)

There are some fabrics I’m indifferent about, but hey, I even like solids - and polka dots!

What I wanted to do with this post was not only show you the Lori Holt “stuff” we’ve got in right now, but simply to mention, “You never know what’s coming in the next lot”. Because of that, to get the best goodies, make sure you are signed up for the emails. Rachael sends out emails every day telling what good things she is featuring. She did want me to mention that if you don’t see any of what you are looking for on a certain day, check back again and again. They add fabrics DAILY to the site.

To sign up for the emails, simply fill out the form on the front page of the website and you will start getting fun, beautiful fabrics in your in-box - well, pictures of them anyway! Daily!

One more thing about the website - if you know there is a collection of fabrics and we carry some - just check here - as we’ve been putting them together so you can click on the name of it and see what all we have in that line of fabrics. Some samples of the collections on that page are Cat-i-tude, Conservatory, Cactus Flower, Here We Glow, etc.

Have a great day wherever you are reading this! Thanks for coming along with me on my quilting/sewing journey!
