Quilted Twins

"Trunk Show" - First Visit to a Quilt Guild!

We were able to set up at the Hernando County Quilt Guild. Interestingly enough, it was both my sister and my first guild meeting that we’d ever been to. It was a good one.

There were about 55 ladies there - very friendly, helpful, and they enjoyed shopping!

We set up our goodies on the tables they provided as they met in a very large hall!

Ladies came and bought at the beginning, and then again when they had a break after some of the initial activities/announcements that they had.

I met a very young quilter - she had her first quilt there! Her great-grandmother was with her and showing her how fun it was to sew! Both should be proud!

This particular guild meeting talked about classes, retreats, charity things going on and had various members show what they had made. They also welcomed several new members into their group.

Here is how our table area looked.

We took all the things I mentioned yesterday - from pieces to backing and quilt kits to layer cakes and 2.5” strips rolls and packages.

They shopped. They talked.

They laughed. They shared and showed. They encouraged.

It was a good day. I hope that all your guild meetings are as fun and encouraging as this one!

Thanks, ladies!

If you are reading this and find yourself wanting The Quilted Twins to come and set up at your meeting, just let us know as I mentioned in yesterday’s blog post.

Have a great day wherever you are reading this! Stay safe!

Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store here!

Here’s one of the beauties we have!

This panel is called “At Eagle Rock” and can be found here!
