The last couple of days I sneaked in a little project - two receiving blankets.

I made these receiving blankets up a while ago now, but these two - I wanted to use some of our farm flannel as this is going to be for a young farm wife - and the baby is a girl.

I followed the instructions on this website.

They are truly easy. If you have decided that flannel rag quilts aren’t for you, consider using some of that flannel for some of these- they make wonderful baby blankets. I know that because I made them for a lady in our church in Poland and she has used and used hers. They looked like this. Maybe some of you remember.
