Quilted Twins

View Original

"Down Home" finished!

This was a quilt I made while in Florida!

This quilt features the John Deere panel called Vintage John Deere.

The long arm quilters used what is supposed to be a tractor tire tread for the quilting. So cool!

Above and below the panel is a scenic design.

I used yellow bandana around the design but before the final border because I think of bandana = farmer. My dad called himself a farmer/rancher from Montana and used bandanas - albeit red.

If you have a farmer friend, or really, anyone who loves John Deere - consider getting this kit. They will love it. We could always give my dad stuff featuring John Deere and he loved them all!

My sis has made up a quilt kit which you can get here!

The pattern, which is for sale, is here.

I don’t feel like I have that much to say about this one except that i love how it turned out. I’m sure if you have that John Deere fan in your life, they would love it!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this! Thanks for coming along with me on my quilting/sewing journey!

Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store here!

Here’s one of the beauties we have!
