"Snazzy Boxes" - a new Quilted Twins kit
Last summer while I was in FL I made this top. After I finished the top, I handed it to some long-armers that Rachael and I used at times (we had two we used) and said, “We want something wild/modern looking.” When they took it from us, they said, “We know just what to do.” At that point, my sis and I had no idea what in the world….
And when we got it back…WOW. I was so surprised - and thrilled!
Just check out the quilting!
But first the quilt.
This is made from a 2.5” strips pack AND some black.
The pattern will be available separately as a purchase, or you will get it as part of the kit.
Now for some close ups of the quilting and more photos. It’s so pretty!
I’m not sure what to say about this except that the quilting is stunning!
and this one
Yet another.
I really did have fun with this one - but in order to have this effect, a bunch of wild patterned fabrics is best.
I’m leaving all these photos so you can see the details better.
If you want to get this kit from us, you can get it here. Or if you just want the pattern, it is here.
I’m glad to get this one shown - it is one of the few quilts I made last summer NOT from a panel. Obviously by using a “Jelly Roll” or a 2.5” strips roll or bundle, you are still using a precut - but that’s fine. I fell in love with those strips and wanted to use them.
Hope you enjoy!
Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store here!
Here’s one of the beauties we have!
