Featuring Studio E...another Jaftex Company

The company called Studio E started under the umbrella of a company called Fabric Editions. You may recognize that name if you’ve bought fabric from big box stores. It is one of the brands they often carry. In this case, Fabric Editions decided to start a company that featured local quilt shop fabrics and marketed to these shops. That was in 2008.

In 2010 Fabric Editions was purchased by Jaftex. This deal meant that Studio E also went along as part of it and became owned by Jaftex Corporation. Scott Fortunoff was now in charge. In 2012 they got a great website and now have everything you need to know about their lines, their designers and patterns. Once again, it’s very good. It’s here.

I’ll start by sharing with you their free patterns page. We love new ideas!

Yes, they feature their own fabrics - and that is great. Obviously you do not need to use only their fabrics with these designs. Be sure to check them out. You can click right on the picture below and it will take you to their free projects page.

On my computer screen, anyway, there are 6 pages of ideas - with 15 rows of 6 - so that’s 80 patterns x 6 pages. 480 free patterns! Make sure you take a look!

Confession:

I’ll be open here. I had never been a specific fabric line fan - I usually bought what appealed to me when I was in a store - and didn’t really pay that much attention to designers. Obviously as my sis now has the store, I’m exposed more now to the names of people who design lines. I mean, they had to have been REALLY, really famous for me to recognize their names before. I’ve been overseas, anyway, for years, so obviously exposure is limited to on line only reading. I’m learning all the time nowadays about designers.

- End of confession -

The quality of their lines is undisputed. While the brand isn’t nearly as famous as some of the larger companies, they have some mighty fine items.

One of the things they do carry is kitchen towels. I find that fascinating. I wonder if you’ve ever seen the fabric at your local quilt shop.

Anyway, my sis does have some of these lines because of Scott Fortunoff. Once she started carrying Jaftex Corporation fabrics, that included Studio E as well.

Here are some amazing bundles she has. You can click on these images and you should be able to go to the fabrics shown.

Here are some of the really nice panels that we carry.

Here are some random fabrics that are only $6.99/yard. They are not the latest lines - but great fabric!

Here are some of the newer lines of fabrics.

Once again - the reason I wanted to give Jaftex Corp. companies some attention is my way of saying a special thank you to Scott Fortunoff, CEO of Jaftex, who helped considerably with shipping boxes of quilts to Poland for Ukraine.

You can read more about that here.

If you buy Studio E fabrics, you will be helping Jaftex Fabrics - and also us if you buy them here! Just an idea. If you have a choice of which fabrics to buy and one of them is Studio E - if you feel so led - choose Studio E. :)

So there you go. Thanks again all of you for reading here! I know it’s a lot to absorb!

Have a great day wherever you are reading.

If you want to do your own searching on the website for Studio E fabrics, I’ll give you two links. One is with the name all scrunched together - studioe and the other is with the letters separated - Studio E. Be sure to check them out!

Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store here!

Feel free to browse the site.
