Our County fair uses the Danish system of judging. Every entry receives a ribbon based on its own merit. So, each item will earn either a blue, red or yellow ribbon based on the standards listed in the rules.
From the blue ribbons, the judges will then choose the Grand Champions and the Reserve Grand Champions within each division.

And…if you are in Pasco County, FL (you need an address there at least) consider making things during this year to put in the fair next year. It’s part of our small-town Americana that many of us love! Let’s not lose it- let’s fill up that cottage with entries! All kinds!!! Do you have a favorite here? It’s hard - because you are comparing apples to pumpkins sometimes. But I admit to a special love of that Raggedy Ann and Andy pair. Love them! What about you? Oh well - those paper pieced quilts - they are ‘beyond great’! And those purses/totes..and those… well, you get the picture. Oh..and those cute flamingos!!!
