2022 Charity Quilts #91-100

It was a cloudy day and a great chance to get some more quilt photos. Next week we’re looking at RAIN - which will be miserable for taking pictures. So, it’s time to get these done.

The white you may see on each of these quilts is snow - as I couldn’t keep it off while hanging them up. It was just below freezing as I took these photos.

Thankfully it wasn’t very, very cold or windy. Wind did come up for a few of the photos, but thankfully I didn’t struggle too much with it. Wind makes photography in cold weather even colder! Of course, it is hard to get photos with the quilts hanging as straight as possible when it’s windy.

Be sure to click on the arrows to check out the next quilt. I took it off of automatic for today.

This paisley print was kind of wild colored - and it is much more interesting up close than from a distance.

Here’s a close up of some of the snow on a quilt. Each of the quilts actually had some snow when I brought them back in the house. I had to lay them out to let them dry once again. I got the snow on them when I was hanging them up on the line. Sometimes I found I had them upside down and had to put turn them around.

Well, now that I have these additional 10 quilts, I can contact a lady named Dorota, who I think needs some for her contacts here in Poland.

Once again, I spread these out around the living room in order for them to dry after the photo shoot.

These quilts are made by various people - some by Ewa’s mom, some by Ewa, and I made some and Fran made the centers of some. It’s all quite a mix. These were all quilted using the long-arm.

An that’s it for this group of 10 charity quilts. I know these charity quilt blog posts may not be all that interesting, but they are necessary - at last for me. And 10 quilts in one post - that’s actually a fair bit of sewing and quilting. :)

Thanks so much again - for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
