Some of you know that the All Florida Shop Hop 2024 is coming up around the corner. Last summer they asked us to submit patterns and Rachael just kind of off-hand said, “Can you come up with something?”

At first I was, “What? that’s in one week!” (the deadline was crazy quick) for ideas.

But I did have some swatches or colorations and designs of the actual fabrics so I set to work with Electric Quilt program.

The ideas don’t always just “come”. Sometimes I have to work through things more than others. With this particular action, Shop Hop specifically, we had to 1. all the feature fabrics and 2. not a lot of blenders. Yikes. That’s tough for me as I tend to like a lot of background to kind of tone down craziness.

That made it difficult.

But to make a long story short and months later, the magazine is published!

The company that is organizing the Shop Hop is asking us to sell preorders on the magazines so they can know how many to produce.

So…if you want to get yours from us - it will be available to everyone in mid January - get it here.

We do have two quilts in this magazine. Rachael made ONE of them and the other one was made by one of the long-armers that we use - Diane Hissong. So, we are pretty happy about that!

You can’t really see the quilts in totality and you will see them eventually. One of our quilts is rolled up on the chair.

The OTHER is the one that says FLORIDA and is on the floor and draped up so you can read the word. The rest will be seen later. :)

So, I guess you can say that this is a “red-letter” day for us. It doesn’t happen everyday!
