You're Invited to a Book Signing and Trunk Show in Dade City, FL
We wanted all of you to know that YOU ARE INVITED to a Trunk Show and Book signing by
She will be with us on Thursday, December 14 from 11 am to 2 pm in the Sewin’ Shop where there is a classroom with tables and chairs.
We have chairs for 25 - let’s PACK IT OUT for her.
This is your chance to go to a FREE trunk show. I’m sure some of you in Florida were looking for an outing to go to. Don’t we all love looking at beautiful quilts? In person is always better than on line or just looking at photos!
Diane grew up with a grandmother who quilted and taught her from an early age how to make a hand sewn and tied quilt.
Diane started out making traditional quilts, but began tweaking patterns to her own style after gaining a bit of experience.
Eventually she has developed into an art quilter - at least that is how she is now categorized.
She has won various awards and been published in a variety of magazines including QuiltFolk Magazine and, American Quilter Magazine.
Her work is beautiful! She combines traditional with artsy techniques for amazing and unique quilts.
She also has a book out now telling us how she works and thinks. It’s full of tidbits and stories.
Her book is called Artful Insights in Fabric: Quilted Bits of Wit and Wisdom.
She will be selling and signing books on Thursday.
We want to pack out that room! Please consider coming. We know…sitting at home is easier, but you all were WONDERFUL when we had Loralie. Let’s be just as kind to Diane.

On Thursday we will have Fred and Elaine, the knife sharpening duo, come to help us get our knives and scissors in good order before the Christmas holidays!
Come early, give your knives and scissors to them over in the Salon and then head to the trunk show/book signing, have some cookies and go shopping. Then when you are done shopping, your knives/scissors will be ready to go! How’s that for efficiency?
