"Granny Squared"
Here is number 17 in my upcycled greens series of quilts.
All finished!
While this one is part of the upcycled greens quilt, I suppose it could have been part of the upcycled pinks series. (That one is just starting.) All the pink shown here is second-hand as well.
As you can tell - these granny squares are quite small.
I found a day that was mostly cloudy and not rainy. It’s been rainy a lot this January.
This quilt top is made only of 2 blocks:
This is yet another one that is on point. Seems like I tend to like those!
The quilt roll:
I did a type of quilting that featured a lot of echo quilting. A LOT of echo quilting.
The patterns is finished and up on the site.
It is here. (Free!) Granny Squared
So…how do I feel about this one?
I like it. A lot. Maybe an 8/10 or 9/10 if I were to give it a rating. :) Sometimes my own quilts don’t really get that high - but this one appeals to me. I like all the pink, and the white and the soft colors of it. I realize it probably wouldn’t appeal to most men, however—at least assuming they have a preference as to the bedding in their bedroom.
I’ve made several Granny Square type quilts. Here are the ones I’ve done - and the granny squares have been several different sizes. The last of the 6 was my first one and not my pattern. The rest are my own designs. The one that isn’t last I checked, it wasn’t for sale anymore.
Here is the Upcycled Greens series so far. To date.
So now I’m down to 21 done - with only 15 left. That’s great!
And that’s it. Have a great day wherever you are reading this! Thanks so much for coming along on this journey!
