Quilted Twins

More Word From Ukraine - Thank you!

I know…trickling in…but as you all know, my husband took the last of the quilt bundles to Ukraine in mid December. Yes! That was a wonderful sigh of relief we felt to see them go, unloaded and into the hands of people who could carry them further.

I’ve been receiving photos of the group that got them…lots of photos! Let me share.

I really want you to see these as some of you MIGHT see your quilt! That is really quite exciting!

I am working on putting some more quilt bags together of my own quilts - trying to (needing to) whittle them down by some this year! I have several of the soft microfiber blankets that I found when I cleaned out the room where some of the bundles were kept. Anyway - I have about 8 vinyl bags so the decision about which ones to put in the bag is probably the hardest part of this. As long as we don’t have another trip in the works, I can put it all off. :)

Someone recently asked me for the address of where to send $$ if you want to support more help for Ukraine.

I am not asking Rachael to deal with it this year. She has her hands full and last year almost did her in - so we are trying to get you to send the money to our mission board which is a bona fide charity (tax deductible).

You could do it either of two ways.

  1. Send a check to International Baptist Missions and put Petersen/Ukraine relief in a note with it.

2211 W Germann Rd, Chandler, AZ 85286

2. Or use this page in order to pay with credit or debit card.

Just be sure to put on anything that it is for Petersen and please put Ukraine relief on it. Thanks so much!

Right now Mike is working on getting his truck fixed up from his accident on his last trip to Ukraine when the road was very slippery. Remember this?

He broke a mirror and the glass out of of the topper was broken as a result of this. Both need to be fixed. He’s working on it.

So, this is what Mike is working on now - trying to find someone to help him get the mirror fixed AND the dents out of the side of the truck.

Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store here!

Feel free to browse the site.
