I know it’s been a couple of weeks now since we went to the H& H Conference, but I promise you all some pictures of things that we saw that were NOT just fabric companies.

I did spend one entire post just showing off the beautiful fabrics. You can imagine how much more beautiful the October Quilt Market was, with all the fabrics that it had.. but this was also beautiful, only in a VERY different way.

So, I thought I’d show you some of the fun, pretty, beautiful and/or just entertaining things that we saw.

I did NOT purchase most of the things that we saw. I’d have to have a warehouse the size of 5 gymnasiums if I bought everything we wanted. I don’t, so we don’t purchase all the things we might like to have.

But, that doesn’t mean that we can’t enjoy the views!

First and foremost is Annie. She had an amazing booth - probably the largest and nicest booth of anything that was “not fabric,” yet also related to what we needed and used.

Then we saw a bunch of bags for your “stuff” and your machines. Just look at how beautiful they are! I might still be buying into some of these. Of course, it’s all a matter of space :) But I loved them! It was run by a sweet Chinese lady, so we did have some language barriers.

Auntie’s Patterns were also beautiful to gaze upon. I loved the fact that they used so many Hoffman fabrics. I happen to have most of the fabrics that are shown here. I love the use of the Call of the Wild Crab Panel that is shown here.

The only regular sewing machines that I saw were Janomes. I love these machines, as Becky had me sewing on hers in Poland.

Buttons, knicknacks and gadgets and do-dads galore. Those were everywhere. Chairs, charms and more! Lots and lots and lots of non-fabric things were everywhere! They are incredibly fun to look at!

We also stopped by and saw some of our classic items that aren’t fabric: Olfa cutters and blades and mats, as well as Bosal stabilizers. I also had no idea there were so many flavors of Heat ‘n Bond. Then we stopped and talked to the lady at the Schmetz Needles booth! It was all incredibly fascinating!

All in all, H&H was an amazing show. I would call it a Soft Goods show, as at least 65 to 75% of the show was about yarn and yarn related hobbies. However, I still was able to glean a lot from it. In fact, because so little of it was “for me,” I believe I felt like I saw at least most of it.
