More quilted hearts. Naturally.

I have a plastic box full and I’m trying to finish up all the ones I started during my August push when I ended up working on them a lot while the embroidery machine was going.

So, I put out more hearts - these have been finished a while ago now. But that’s okay. They are great fun to make. But I did just get them all put out.

I definitely like some of what I make better than others, but all are kind of fun to at least attempt.

Ideally I would travel out to the village area to put up these farm ones. But maybe the person who finds it will have some relatives from the farming area.

This one ended up being a bit “too much” for me. But I finished it, labelled it and put it out. Someone else can deal with it’s anxiety inducing amount of bling.

Sometimes on the sandwich fabric I put a charm with a bag of potato chips connected - like Subway gives you in their meal deal. This one, I focused on the veggies.

Kitties - most of us love them.

This farmer’s market fabric just speaks of autumn to me. I’m trying to get these all out at this time of the year.

I did put this hamburger one in the McDonald’s parking lot - on a shrub. I hope someone with a sense of humor found it.

This one reminded me of southwest - the American Southwest. Our mission board is based in Arizona - so I’ve begun to learn to appreciate that type of environment.

“Before” - I just didn’t know anything about it - and didn’t understand the beauty of the desert. After making a trip out there and going to a few national parks - I get it.

This fabric reminds me of what I visualize rural England to look like.

Polish folk fabric - Lowicz.

This fabric was very busy and was hard to decorate.

Aww. Sweet.

I don’t have enough of those pumpkin or veggie cabochons to put multiples on each of these hearts. So I went a different route.

Another farm one - so glad I found that tractor ribbon. I thought it was perfect.

Our own garden is producing quite a bit for the amount of time I put it into - so this particular pattern actually has meaning to me.

Just a generic “happy” pastely heart.

Like I mentioned - because it kind of reads “fall” to me - I’m trying to dig through my box of hearts and get these all out between now and November.

More veggies.

Even though I did make quite a few with this fabric, I tried to make something different about each one. Hopefully each of the hearts I make is unique - no two alike.

I do have a lot of those wilderness type fabrics. Some with the wolves and others with just the woods. I hope the people who find them appreciate the esthetic. I guess they could just leave them if don’t, right?

This fabric always makes me think of Alaska - where my husband is from and where we spent our first year of marriage together.

And here is where I put them. Just click the arrows to make them move as quickly as you wish. All of these are in either our town/area or the one next to us - just a couple of miles/kilometers away.

The weather has been warm lately with a lot of sun so I hope that each of these is found quickly, We are supposed to get some rain in a couple of days. I hope they all get found before it rains, but if not…well… I really can’t help it too much. This time’s efforts feature a couple of new spots, which might become somewhat regular. My goal is to find well-trafficked places where I can get to without being seen and quickly put the heart, snap a photo and go. At times it seems there are people everywhere and it is hard to do.

So, when I find that good spot, I do tend to use it again and again - in hopes that the very fact that so many people walk or bike there, that it will be seen and taken by different people - and not always the same person!

Anyway, in case you are wondering what in the world this is about - it’s a random act of kindness thing - and the information is based on the website - I found a quilted heart.

As I mentioned before, I will investigate other groups that are based around hearts - as I would like to learn more about them. I just haven’t done it yet.
