Book Signing Coming up - Plan for it!
Carla Klop of Kits by Carla is coming to town on Thursday, Aug 15.
She is bringing her new book, Panel Play, and doing a trunk show and book signing.
Panel Play contains 20 patterns in fun styles! You won’t find your traditional panel patterns in Carla’s book!
She will have her books for sale. As well, we have the book available for pre-order HERE so you can just pick it up on Thursday if you want. OF course, you can just buy them there.
I would LOVE to have some idea how many she should probably bring. Of course, you can always buy them at the Trunk Show.
I’ve not yet met Carla, but I’ve heard about her through the All Florida Shop Hop. I’ve seen her patterns and enjoyed looking at the skill sets that she’s teaching.
I’m not sure what all she’ll be doing at this trunk show, but she will be talking about using PANELS.
As you all know, we have over 1700 different panels. We think this collaborative effort will be perfect for us as we have soo many different panels!
It’ll be fun to see what we can do with these amazing panels.

You can Give your VIEWER’s CHOICE VOTE for all the QUILTS in the Quilt Challenge that were shipped in or brought in. ONLINE voting will be set up as we can.
As well, we will begin voting for our Quilt Challenge Viewer’s Choice this coming week. People who come in can vote once for each day that they come. We will have all the quilts, totes, bags, and other things hanging, Lord willing, for all to see and vote for!
Breaking news: We just added a 2:30 p.m. Showing which is WIDE OPEN!
The 11 a.m. is full and 1 p.m. showing has a few seats, but we just opened a wide open 2:30 p.m. show! So, CHECK here to see if you can get in to the 1 p.m. showing! I’m very excited about this.

We will have prizes, and refreshments for all who come. One of our fabric reps is going to come and help share in the fun! The store will be open from 10:30 on for shopping and all day long until 5:30 p.m.
