Quilted Twins

What I’ve been Working on

I’ve been working on a few new projects.

First of all - I’m working on something that will be released in early 2025. Because of that I can’t show you enough of it for you to know what I’m doing - so let me show you just a tiny bit.

Then I am working on my Purry Stars - I have several of the cats finished by now. I need to make 20, but am over half finished with them. They are so fun. It is a Corey Yoder quilt pattern.

I want to get started on a couple more, but especially when I’ve bought a pattern, I want to try to go ahead and finish up a couple of these that I purchased before moving on to something else I’d like to make.

Then, I told you I’d work on some small granny square blocks until I get about 200 of them done - enough to make a quilt. Here is my stack of those - I’ve enjoyed making them but need to make a LOT more, naturally. I think this is only about 40.

Then, last but certainly not least, while I was in the states, I picked up my block of the months that had arrived at mom’s for me. I subscribed to 3!!! Yes, can you believe it? But they are only 1 year and I will be finished. When I saw how absolutely cute these were - I gave in. I figured it was time. I’m 62 and I really liked these and wanted to make them. This first one is English Cottages.

These are from Shabby Fabrics - you can search and find the BOM involving houses on their website.

Doing these is so far out of my norm, it isn’t funny, but it is part of the “I want to do things I’ve not done before” mentality that I’ve got this year.

Here are the first three of the English cottage blocks. That’s all I have. I will have 12 blocks eventually, but since they are being delivered to mom, it will be a while. I will do my best to keep track of these until that time.

And that’s what I’ve been up to lately. The first one - the one I showed almost nothing of has been a big project over my head….and hopefully the day you read this it is winging its way to the states - or at least starting the journey.

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this.
