Decorative Hand Towels

I have never tried to make hand towels pretty.

the feedback we got was that the white space was ugly, so we looked around for something to go in that spot. We found rick rack.

But I tried this time, using our Florida Stripe that is part of our this year’s AFSH fabric. (AFSH = All Florida Shop Hop)

I’m sure the same effect could be had with whatever striped fabric you had along with maybe some more colorful hand towels. I find these towels a bit dull - but they are we could pickup quickly and easily. Rachael brought them to me.

Also, I’d prefer working with cotton towels - these are polyester.

I enjoyed the challenge. We have so many gorgeous stripes that would also work as decorating kitchen towels.

But back to this project.

I sometimes used only the FLORIDA part of the stripe.

I also sometimes used two of the designs. One time I used three.

The favorite of all of us was the single line of stripe.

Here they are after I had finished them all.

I put together 14 beautiful hand towels from just over a yard of fabric and a few other fun things which you could do as well - or leave it all off! It’s all good!

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this.
