Charity quilts progress update
You all know I’m really trying to finish up all my 120 charity quilts!
I did finish quilting all 120 on Thursday, October 10, I believe it was.
Now I’m binding. Binding a LOT.
I’m trying to first use up all those already cut pieces of 2.5” strips that were folded in half and in that bag I had shown previously. by the time of this writing, I’ve used up most of this bag of strips.
But I’m continuing using my chart.
Here it is a couple of days ago. I’ve drawn in the green which means bound/labeled and then washed and photographed in that melon color. I’ve not photographed very many yet, because taking photos takes time and I’m focusing on binding.
I suppose you’ve noticed that when I’ve got such a big project going on at once, I tend to ignore other things going on in my life and just try to get done.
OK, truthfully - my husband is in Central Asia for a couple of weeks and I’m really trying to finish all of the binding on these by the time he gets back. So, there’s that.
Some of you know I like to listen/watch baseball while I sew. This week there hasn’t been a lot of baseball games and the the World Series starts on Friday (which I will watch on Saturday) - so I have been listening/watching other things - but baseball has the advantge of lasting a nice long time. :) You Tube videos are often only 10-20 minutes each.
Anyway - thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!
Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
