The best laid plans
Well, I had all kinds of plans about the Monkey Wrench quilt - name it, make the pattern available, etc.

Then, this evening, my husband apparently hurt himself again - his leg. He went to play basketball and while shooting, heard something "pop" and down he fell.
So, I've been a bit distracted. I've not chosen the name for the quilt top yet - and probably won't tonight after all (this is written on Wed, the 15th), like I had planned to.
We will probably need to head to the hospital for x-rays tomorrow. He can't really drive with his leg in this condition, so I'll need to be his chauffeur until at least we find out what's up. He thinks maybe a ligament popped - but it's the same one on which he had the operation.. I hope the bone didn't re-break right where they cut it in August.
Those of you who pray - please pray for me during this time. I have a hard time with things like this as I sometimes lack a good attitude about it - (no, I didn't want Mike to go play basketball again so soon after the operation - though it was in August - almost 3 months ago now, if at all). Please also pray for him and his leg. The doctor who was so good is in the states now for a few months, so he won't have him to help us through this.
And that's all..........
I have to admit, I did get a lot work done today on blue #3 - upcycleds. I've only shown #1 so far. Upcycled blues Number 2 top is done but the pattern isn't, so I'm waiting to show it til I get the pattern written up. I really need to get crackin' to use the British expression meaning to get busy!
This is ALL I'm showing you of #3.
With this much of a close up, I can see that I need to get that foot area cleaned up. I do clean it periodically while I sew. I took the picture and then cropped it up close so you couldn't really see much. But it means it's quite up close - so you can see all the fuzz!
And don't forget - my sis is available at her shop - to help you be able to make the quilt of your dreams with beautiful fabric at great prices!
