"Fractured Squares"

Number one (!) in my 2.5" series - as I attempt to tame the 4 bags of 2.5" strips that I have.

This one will do a number on your eyes!

Up close it isn't so scary, however.

The pattern is in the free downloads section.  It's really just a quarter log cabin block, 4 together to make a very large block.

I originally had this planned to do as a 2" project, but decided to try it bigger-- 2" or 1.5" would probably do even more of a number on your eyes!

I originally had this planned to do as a 2" project, but decided to try it bigger and made it using 2.5" strips, however 2" or 1.5" would probably have even a stronger effect! So would having only one color.  Let me show you!

The end result is similar to a Bento box project I made, but I made that one quite differently.

And to think all of this madness comes from these innocent looking blocks!

Enjoy!  It's still chilly here in Poland so great quilting weather!

Have a great day!

Feel free to check out what my sis has found for you over in the shopping section!
