"Turnabout"
All finished.
This quilt is for my daughter in law who is a Nebraska Huskers fanatic.
I picked up the fabric the summer that she and my son got married ('13). I've had it since then...and in keeping with my decision to try to get some of these special quilts made this year and next, I decided it was time to make it up for her!
Here's the back:
I quilted it with loop de loops. I had a lot of fabric to "quilt out" - it was the excess from my poor job of putting on the boorder, so I needed to use this type of quilting in order to work the extra puffy fabric in there.
I showed pictures of it here.
But I'm pleased - quite pleased with the end result. If I hadn't told you, I doubt you'd have realized I made that mistake.
Whether you are a Huskers fan or not, you need to see this fabric. It's really quite cute!
Nebraska is known for railroads and beef as well as their college football team. However, I didn't really have appropriate steers or beef fabric in these colors, but I did come up with some cows fabric. I hope she thinks its cute and not stupid.
I trust wherever today finds you, that you are having a good one!
Don't forget to check out what's new with my sister's shop. Check it out if you need more fabric for your latest project. She's got all kinds of interesting destash pieces that are one of a kind because they are from a quilter's stash that she wanted to get rid of. Because of this, this is a pretty fun place to browse.

3-5/12 yards of this unknown fiber content solid white is NOT 100% cotton. This would make a good lining or costume for a child's play. It's a non-stretchy fabric.
