"Strings project" update

I made 22 of these blocks in various brights. I need 56, so in a couple more big sewing sessions, I should have them all done.

I am working on my second strings quilt top now. This weekend I only gave it one nice sewing  session. I did cut up white for the blocks earlier in the week and made these 22 blocks:

I have all of the actual strings blocks I need. Now I'm working on the chain blocks.  This top is getting tedious to me already, so I'm just "gutting it out" (forcing myself) to work on it. I worked on it for one good sewing session and that's all. I'll attack the rest of the chain blocsk a different time.

Once again...this is the plan for my Strings 2 quilt. I can cut up the white sashing strips this week and start combining a strings block and a chain block in groups of 2.  (I am trying to keep myself interested by making up small goals in order to stay engaged and motivated. I work much, much harder on something if I am completely involved!
