Cultural: A quick trip around Warsaw

Last Thursday afternoon, after my husband my sister's husband called a halt to the remodeling work, we decided to visit a museum (I already featured it the other day - the Communist one) and then my husband decided that they needed to see downtown Warsaw.

Here are a few pictures from the vehicle.as we drove around. This will only give you a feel for the city - certainly there are professional pictures on the internet, however, if you are like me, you probably won't spend too much time looking at any given city in Europe today - unless you happen to want to visit - or are looking at a friend's pictures!

Here are just a few.

Kijowska - the longest building in Warsaw - 500 meters long.  It's an apartment building

I told you it would be quick tour.  Maybe it has whetted your appetite for more pictures!  Just look under google images for pictures of Warsaw, Poland! You'll find plenty!

And while you are here, feel free to check out the goodies my sister has for you!
