All that fabric!!!!
As you know, we went on a buying trip right at the end of October. The fabric arrived just before the quilt show. What you didn’t know, because I didn’t tell you, is that my sis had ordered some other fabric from a DIFFERENT supplier and it arrived the next day after the HUGE order arrived.
Yes it did. She’s a bit crazy at times, isn’t she?
So they’ve been organizing and sorting and organizing and sorting.
I thought I’d take a few minutes to show you even more pictures of fabric! I think we all like looking at fabric and seeing it in the shop, being unpacked…well, it makes me happy!
The picture here shows two large orders - both delivered by big truck as shown above. This is much more reasonable (price wise) than by the USPS or FedEx.
Getting these boxes unpacked was a job in itself. It was fun for a while, and then it wasn’t anymore. My sis got my son, Jeremiah, to open all the boxes, sort the reds, oranges, blues, greens, etc and put the rest in tubs along the edges of the room.
One of my tasks had been to clean out the section of the room where all this fabric is stacked up. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have had space for it!
After they got those all unboxed, then another smaller order arrived. It included some Riley Blakes and some different batiks.
Here are more pictures! Enjoy!
I think this may be it for a while - she’s got a lot to process now and get up on the site!
I hope I’ve left the pictures big enough for you to enjoy looking at them! I think today - Wednesday before Thanksgiving, we may not have much time to be sewing or enjoying our fabrics, but it is always fun to look at them! So, ENJOY!
If you find yourself needing something from the store, be sure to order! You can always just go on over to the “new fabric” section and check out what’s the latest.
