We have a Winner!
Winners, actually. Not just one.
Do you remember that the whole month of December we were having a thank you drawing? I talked about it on the December 4 blog post!
You may or may not have even realized it, but if you ordered something from our site during December, your name was entered into a drawing. As the month went along I checked our orders and if you ordered, I typed your name into a Word document, printed out and cut up, folded, and put it in this jar.
Towards the end, it was full plus 2 more small ones, so I ended up dumping the whole works into a very big blue bucket so there would be room for all the names to be mixed up freely!
We decided to have 7 prizes -
One person would win the quilt A Hot Mess
One person would win a 17 piece bundle pack of half yard cuts
Five people would win a 5 pack of fat quarters.
Things were crazy right around the first of January so I collected all the names and put them in this bucket. I mixed them up several times a day for a full 24 hours. On January 2 in the afternoon I did the drawing.
I did it here in my house without anyone watching except my husband.
This is what happened.
Before we started, I talked it over with my husband and decided to work UP to the big prize.
The first 5 names would win a 5 pack of fat quarters. Here they are!
1. William Majkut
2. Bobbi A Jackson
3. Shirley Milbocker
4. Margaret Goldstein
5. Livia Boggs
Then I drew one more name and it was going to be the 17 piece bundle pack winner!
Rachael decided that you were going to win one really nice pack called Prickly made up of 17 half yard pieces.
Our winner of the pack is
Jenny Driskill
And finally, the winner of the quilt - a Hot Mess! I kind of did a drum roll in my throat - no one to hear it but me, though….(except for my husband).
And the winner is -
Deborah Washington
