"Double Clusters" finished!
Here’s another top that’s been sitting my closet for a while. Oh my. I’m kind of embarrassed. Maybe 2, maybe 3 years in fact. I just checked. Over 3 years!
I just kept having other things to finish up, so it got pushed aside. I finally decided that I was very tired of looking at it on the shelf.
These are the colors I really love to work with!
I had a lot of this floral - and wanted to use it up in one quilt!
The pattern has already been on the free patterns page.
I updated the pictures and put it back on the free patterns page.
The quilt is large! Over 100” square.
This quilt is very straightforward. Just 9 patches next to each other - no sashing or anything else. On point.
Simple.
I called it “Double Clusters” because what looks like a set of 4 floral pieces in the center of the one simple 9 patch.
Here’s a photo of the center:
I have recently done several quilts with swirly designs, so I decided to just straight line quilt this one!
The quilt roll!
I made the top so long ago now that I don’t remember too much about the construction of it.
But it’s pretty simple and best of all, FINISHED! Isn’t that great?
I think it is!.
That’s it for today. Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store!
