"Mosaic" using 1.5" strips update

I did get some a bit more done of this. It is now about 43” long, so I’m approaching the 50” long which is my targeted “halfway” point.

You can see the line - the top part was the stuff I did before - and this week I made the bottom part.

Here it is once I’ve sewn together.

I had sewn the strips together ahead of time and they looked like this. I clipped them together as I made them - in order. Then I chose a couple at a time, pressed the seams in one direction and add them to the section I was working on.

This bunch of strips is the next group I wanted to put together. I had to quit making rows and go ahead and put them together. Now I have a clean slate and am ready to make some more rows! I will continue in September, if the Lord wills.

So now you can see what a straight on shot looks like!

I am seriously in love with this!!! But then I tend to like all things that have a small and detailed design. After I do this one, and I tackle the 3”x5.5” - I’m going to be so shocked at how fast it goes!

And there you are! This is the last update on this until I get back to Poland and have time to work on it some more. I suppose I could sew some strips together while in FL, but NOT going to do that. I have a couple other projects my sis has given me to do. So, those I will tackle! I’ll keep you in the loop!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
