"Waterfall Panel" quilt

I know the name isn’t that great - but the finished panel quilt turned out very nice.

I like it! I left it in FL, however…so I can’t take any more photos of this one.

This one was quilted by our friends in FL - Diane and Jeff who did the other ones that I had long arm quilted.

It’s a panel. I added spaced squares to the sides. Put some borders on it and called it finished.

Sadly I don’t have a lot of interesting photo shots. As I mentioned above, the quilt isn’t with me so I can’t go take some more.

The layout is here - in case you are interested. I don’t have the actual pattern worked up at this point.

As usual, I like to have the quilt roll:

A close up of the quilting - leaves and swirly things.

I know - this is short and sweet. But that’s how it is sometimes. It makes it easier for you to read and look at!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!

Thanks again, everyone for your help in our Noble Packages outreach.

I have decided to help three family groups -

the large family,

a family that consists of a grandson, 25, and his grandma, 75 (the mom is deceased) and

a single older man, 62, who has had cancer but is living alone

To sum up things, each of these other two families have it tough with little to no work. The man with cancer (he is weak and can’t work - but hopes to grow stronger) lives a very modest life - but has no working oven (just a stove top) and washes his clothes by hand because he has no washing machine. When asked what he wanted as a gift for him - it was sweets to share with his guests who come over for a cup of tea. But we’re getting him a washing machine, a new stove, and some coal to heat his little place for the winter, plus a bed and food, of course. We’ll try to take good care of him.

I’m trying to take good care of the grandma in the above mentioned case, too. The young grandson is just starting life, and as a single guy…well, they can pretty much go without and be fine. But this grandma has sacrificed all her life for her daughter (who passed away) and her grandson. We’re getting her some clothes, a set of dishes, flatware, a new toaster, coal to heat the house, a tv, and food.

We are going to see about getting the grandson into a special course for becoming a certified Spanish and English translator as that will open doors for him for a better job than the food industry is (esp. in the current climate).

Plus, I’ll get them all “covered” with bedding - as this winter appears that it is going to be colder than last one. We almost didn’t have winter last year. I’ll be sure to share pics!
