Becky really DOES have elves who work for her!
I have lady here in Poland that I talk to regularly on the phone. She told me one day that another lady told her that I had a group of ladies at my house who work for me sewing.
I laughed.
Simply not true. I have no idea where it came from—someone without enough going on in her own life that she had to speculate out loud?? It was gossip. I have no idea why anyone would be so interested in my life as to make it up. But they did.
That was then.
Now I have help!
My friend, Ewa, has a mom who has needed something to do.
So…guess what? Earlier this year as I was cleaning up that room with scraps, I put all the already cut squares in one place and ended up giving them a rather large box - actually two of them - to sort and make up some charity tops with them.
And so they have. I haven’t yet met Ewa’s mom - but Ewa apparently has explained to her what I need and how to do it.
So far they have finished 20 tops!!
I am amazed! These are being added to my growing pile of Big Fabric Haul tops that I want to finish.
This is what they have done for me this year so far!
So, I do have elves! Now these elves aren’t working in MY house - each is working at her own…but they are truly helping me get some of the “miscellaneous mess” cleaned up by using all those squares and turning them into charity tops! That makes me incredibly happy!
I so appreciate it!
My pile of recently finished charity tops combined with the Big Fabric Haul ones is getting pretty big! I am actually getting eager to tackle them again.
I wanted to add that my wrist has sort of settled down again. Maybe it’s because I’ve not been putting it under such great strain in the last couple of months. I’ve even been able to take off my wrist brace and it is fine…no aching or “feeling” it. - which is what happened last November when I pushed myself so hard to finish 5-10 quilts a day - esp. the binding part. It was something about the pulling the quilt around and throwing it here and there that really strained my left wrist. I will try to be more careful this year. I know as I age, I can’t treat my body as if I were 30 years younger!
Ewa also brought me three more Fidget Mats.
Here they are!

So….now here’s the truth - I “DO” have elves!!! It’s my secret! Don’t each of you wish you had a couple? (Especially if they work at their own homes and just bring you the finished product?)
Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store!
