I hadn’t known how to quilt this one effectively so this is one of the tops I took to the states to get long-arm quilted back in August.

I have had the pattern on the free patterns page for a while now (I’ll check that it is still there as we lost some in the transition to the new website).

But I don’t know how to upload new patterns in this new website YET. When I do learn, I will update the pattern with a new picture!

I love how they quilted it - I had asked for waves, but what I meant was “water”. Thankfully Diane, the long- armer, understood that I really wanted water! I appreciate it so much!

I had found a free applique alphabet on the website for the letters. The fish fabric was some fabric that we bought from a lady back in 2015 when we bought her stash - from her daughter.

All in all - I’m very happy with how this little quilt turned out!!!

I used words fabric - or really, fabric that simulates words - for at least some of them - to put in the little rectangles below the tanks - so that it would look like the description of what was in that particular tank.

If you need a long-armer, consider Jeff and Diane with DJ Quilts - I gave all their info on this blog post. They are fast and work conscientiously. I know a lot of long-armers get backlogged before Christmas. They are located in Lakeland, FL, but will ship quilts as well.
