Our Last Saturday in FL for a while

While the website was being transitioned to the new site, the blog part was unavailable. I simply had no time to do anything anyway. My mom does not have internet at her house, which means that I had to work on blog posts at the store.

That’s funny! You realize that, right?

The moment a person walks into the store there is something to do. Many “somethings” in fact.

One of the things my husband did for us was set up a new computer in the back with two nice monitors. We so appreciate it!

But otherwise, I was doing what I always did - sorted fabric, went through some “stashed” things - (piles), and tried to do things that Rachael doesn’t have time for. I also prepared a lot of fat quarters for potential guilds that might visit.

There is always something to do at the store. Until everything is “set and ready to go” it will stay that way, I’m sure! I think it is just it is to have a small business or to run your own business. Always lots of things to do - ideas to explore, things to try!

At this point, my heart was all over the place. I had just spent 3 days, or parts of it, with 3 of our kids - all busy (thankfully), but it still pulls on the mama heart strings.

You can’t help but think about them and pray for them - this time has been hard for a couple of them as they have been “stuck at home” for most of their work.

Since I do hate goodbyes, I was just trying not to think about them!

And that is it for today! Have a great one!
