I'm Back!
My happy face mask for traveling. In Paris they (Air France) made me put on a paper one to fly from Paris to Warsaw. So silly!
I got back to Warsaw around 10 pm. It’s a long story and I want to do it properly - not in a short I’m here note. Today, my first day back, my job is to find homes for the things I brought back. My husband also had a lot of tops in his suitcase and carry on which have been sitting here for 2 months, so I need to deal with all of that!
It feels good to be home! A little surreal.
it also feels like I’ve been in a time warp. A big one! So strange. When I left, it was April - and still a bit chilly. Now it is August and definitely full summer! Maybe this is a little bit how snowbirds feel when they leave and come back and forth between homes.
It’s really only been just over 3 months - well, 3 months and maybe a week and a half. so not terribly long.
So, this is really just a note to say “I’m back!” I’ll try to get back in the groove quickly as I have plenty to say. My energy is pretty high and am happy to be back and getting settled in again!
