"Show-Off Fall!" - our next quilt kit

One day I was wandering around the store and saw these beautiful big fall prints. I immediately wanted to make this pattern using these prints. I asked Rachael what she thought and she said, “Go for it!” These fabrics are gorgeous but seriously underappreciated - I suspect because they are so big.
They work perfectly in this pattern where you can see these beauties in all their glory!
By leaving them nice and big you can see and enjoy all the details of the prints.
The off white with the brown provides a nice contrast to the busy-ness of the prints. It all gives your eyes a place to rest before heading on over to the next beautiful scene.
Here are a few of the fabrics I used in this quilt. Actually I used 8 different prints, just like you will get in this kit.

I think you will be surprised how beautiful such a quilt will be—better even in person than in pictures!
Your quilt kit will include 8 different fall fabrics - some of which will probably be different than the ones shown - but Rachael has about 20 various ones in stock - and all are very nice!
And the wonderful thing is, it is super easy!
It may look hard because of the little 9 patches, but I promise, it’s not.

Disclosure: I have already offered the queen size Show Off quilt pattern here as a freebie. I wouldn’t want you to buy the pattern if you don’t really need it. Ok…I suppose that’s not good marketing, but it’s the truth. If you buy the kit, you will get a printed out pattern that is called Show Off Fall along with the fabric needed to make a quilt similar to this. The only actual difference in the instructions is the lap size piano key border is made up of smaller pieces.
Just as a review, I’ve made this Show-Off pattern multiple times. Here are the various ones I’ve made. All of these are queen sized.
I know there isn’t a lot of piecing in this pattern, but the magic in this quilt is that it works. It’s simple. It’s effective.
It’s perfect for these large prints!
