“Wonky Haven”

All done! Yes it is!

This is #82 in my 2” series of quilts made up of at least partly 2” strips and squares. In this one - it’s the light part.

I talked about the top here. I don’t want to repeat myself as to what I wrote there, so you can read about how I made it there.

I just quilted this one all over. I used swirls. It wasn’t the easiest to see with all that is going on with this quilt. However, in the middle of the bright solids, maybe you can see them.

It is quite long - 108”, in fact.

I chose a lot of brights in order to make this. They were all tone on tones.

The rest were blocks made up of “low volume” prints. My definition of low volume for this quilt just means a white background with a print on top of the white or cream - where the white was predominant.

My wonky points border blocks were made up of more of those bright fabrics. I made the points and sides wonky to keep up with the “wonky” theme of the main blocks in the center.

Overall, I am quite pleased with this quilt. It is happy, fun, bright and gives off that vibe that is meant to be a spirit lifter!

I did finish the pattern! I hope someone can use it!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this! Stay safe!
