Another box! I've been gifted...Again!
Well, Rachael brought in another box to me - bearing gifts - like Santa!
I put the box in the middle bedroom where it waited for a moment when there was no crisis pr anything else needing my attention at the moment!
But I had a lot of things to deal with then , so I left it there - just waiting to open it at the perfect time so that I could thoroughly enjoy the experience, if I can word it that way!
My goodies from Sandy Webb! Thank you so much for these beauties!
She mailed this box to the Quilted Twins here in FL and it is for our charity in Poland!
Thirteen tops here! Plus she threw in some yardage and I see some pieces that go with one of the tops! They are all beautiful and I will have fun finishing these up!
The wonderful thing about these is that when I receive donated tops, it is interesting for me because the variety is there that I don’t do when I’m trying to make a LOT of tops. As a result, it does make it more interesting to me to work on these!
Of course, the beauty of donating to people like the ones I give to - they appreciate anything. I let them choose which quilt they want, so that assures that they get what they like!
I appreciate it so much! I will get back on these charity quilts when I get back to Poland!
If any of the rest of you want to help out with this project, I am happy to receive your quilt tops - any size, but if you are going to make them just for me and want to have them the perfect size without any extra borders, I am going for about 60”x80” (+/- a couple of inches)…but can always go longer for the singles and the doubles - 80”x90” or bigger! If you are local, just bring them by to the shop and if you are from afar, just mail them to us. All the information is here.
Thanks so much, Sandy! I do appreciate your work and the time you took to ship this to me!
Have a great day wherever you are reading this! Stay safe!
Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store here!
Here’s one of the beauties we have!
