Reality Check on those Charity Quilts

Here’s where I am.

I’ve got all 52 big quilts now sandwiched. :) Yeah! Our cat thinks it’s his bed.

42+ a couple are quilted (but not yet bound). I’m referring to the big ones here!

A couple more big quilts are quilted and not yet on the pile. Need to be trimmed.

All the rest of the small ones are sandwiched. I have several quilted but not yet trimmed and bound. (see photo below on the left)

A bunch are waiting to be photographed and taken to the building.

And that’s where I am. I’m beginning to see the end!

And you know what happens when I get close to the end of a big project! Sit tight! I’ve had some other things I’ve had to do lately, but now I’m back to focusing again! I am getting itchy fingers to get it all cleaned up and out of my living/dining room.

Once I get it all moved out of there, I really need to clean and mop the floor a few times. Overspray is a real thing. I won’t be sad to see it not a part of my life anymore.

And that’s it.

Today I managed to get 3 large ones quilted - but no small ones because we actually went to Warsaw to check out a shoe store. My husband was looking for a pair but instead, I got a couple of pairs of boots! It’s fine, actually.. I’ve been wanting some and my size is hard to find at most shoe stores. Well, it’s not fine that he didn’t find what he needed.

Have a great day wherever you are reading this! Thanks for coming along with me on my quilting/sewing journey!
