2022 Charity quilts #11-20

Here they are! The next 10! Yeah! By having these ten done, I am technically caught almost caught up for the time of year. However, Ewa has been helping me. That’s an understatement! As I’ve been busy with other things, she’s been solid and bringing me back quilts she has quilted!

All of these are centers from Fran - and I’m tickled to see these being made into quilts. That is great for me as I’ve felt guilty for not having them done already. This way I’m trying to finish up all of these older tops from Fran.

Oh wait, no. That one that is simply squares was put together by Ewa’s mom. I like it a lot!

My piles of finished quilts this time looks sweet. I didn’t actually keep them around, however.

Luda and I went ahead and made all of these up into the bags of goodies.

Apparently I failed to take a nice compact picture of all 10 of the pillowcases I made to go with these quilts. But here is a photo of where we were working on the floor. You can see some of these pillowcases.

I decided to add these straps to the roll to help it get squished up more in order to fit in the bag. My strings I had used in the first batch just weren’t cutting it.

Here is Luda showing how to make this roll get smaller and fit into the tote bag. It’s only a few seconds long.

The final set of 10 looks like this:

I don’t normally make these charity quilts into sets, which you probably know if you read here often - but at this time, I am adding quite a bit to the quilt and making that set shown above. If you are new here - it is a quilt, 60”x80” (approx.), a small towel, pillow and pillowcase, a bottom sheet, and of course the tote bag that it is all wrapped up in. I am very happy with these sets!

And there you are - the second group of 10 charity quilts for 2022 all finished! Feels great!

You will notice that this time I took photos with the quilts hanging on the line in the opposite direction. I had felt like I just “HAD” to take photos and it was afternoon. I couldn’t take them with the camera facing into the sun, so I ended up with the shadows of the tree branches right across the quilts - but the colors are bright.
