Another Request - From a volunteer - Can You Help?

Today I was donating some food at the white tent for our local refugees here in our town/area (Otwock). I asked this man if I could take his picture. I explained that I write a blog.

He was fascinated by that - and said “Ok”, I could take his photo. Then he told me he was a volunteer fireman and had been for years and years.

He had a request.

He would love a ‘patch’ from a USA fireman/fire station/firemen’s organization.

Is that even possible? Could we get him one (or more)?

I told him I’d ask.

Can any of you help me?

I’d love it if we could get him more than one - if they have various towns with their own patches - that would be so cool!

He went on to tell me that he’d been volunteering for the town’s fire station for years, but he is retired now from work - but still volunteers.

I do know that I’ve been taking food here all week and each time he has been there so he’s definitely one of the regular volunteers.

If you can - please mail it/them directly to me here in Poland - I’ll send you a piece of Polish fabric in return. :)

If you can just slip it into an envelope, I’d appreciate it - and if they ask you to put an amount on it (value), please put $0 so that I don’t have to pay customs/duty. Just put that it is a gift and value is $0 - even if they pressure you to put an amount.

Thanks! I’m sure at least one of you could help me!
