My Favorite Quilts...
So what are my own favorite quilts I’ve made?
As you know, that is a tough question.
Each quilt that I make, esp. the ones that are more work, become like a child to me. I am attached to them. Now, if I only spend a couple of days on the top, I do not get these same feelings. However, these shown here are probably the favorite ones I’ve made.
At least today.
This is a constantly changing list - so forgive me if you see something today and think I’m not telling the truth because it used to be something different. They are not in the top order - but random. I can’t really decide a topmost one.
I’ll link to the pattern if it isn’t my own.
3. Bargello from Eileen Wright
I’ve made this one two other times as well. One is not yet quilted, but Lord willing, will be in 2023.
9. Label Equalizer
10. Sunshine - Shirts in Polish folk fabrics
11. Show Off (all of them - I’m very happy each time with how they turn out) (4 are finished - the pink one isn’t quilted yet) We currently use the original one on our bed. (men’s shirts - plaids burgundies, etc.)
12. Double Nines - upcycleds in black, red, gray, white
13. Sheet of Stamps
15. All the Bargellos that are from the pattern Surf Song. I’ve made many (8!) Click on the arrow to go to the next one.
The pattern is by Eileen Wright - called Surf Song and is found in this book Twist and Turn Bargello which can be purchased on Amazon. Here’s a link - which is an affiliate link for us.
And that’s it! I’ve had a long week - and I hope you’ve had a good one as well!
Thanks for coming along with me!
