Mail Call!

I got two boxes lately of charity quilt tops!

Yeah! one came from Laurie Bluestone - thank you so much!

This is what came from her!

She even measured them for me. I appreciate that! (I do that when I get ready to match them up to backings.)

The second one came from Fran.

This is what I got from Fran’s box.

She sent 15 small tops

She also sent 5 larger tops

Plus Fran put some batting in the box!

Two bags of batting - a poly bag and a bag of all cotton.

Aren’t these great? I am going to need to get going soon on these quilts.

Lately I’ve been doing more organizing and sorting and getting ready. I had such a mess over Christmas and New Year - and only after Jan. 1 have I had the energy and time to actually go through everything I had been given in 2022 with regards to charity quilt tops and “deal with them”. Now I have a whole lot measured and matched up with backings and moved to the long arm room. I’m hoping I can quilt all summer long - something I couldn’t do before easily because it got so hot in my sewing room which is upstairs. The long arm room is in the coolest part of the house - the basement!

And there you - more tops! I do appreciate all of the help and I especially love the variety it helps give me to the charity quilts I am able to finish for our local people.
